Sinopsis
Cerita ini berkisar tentang Man Laksa, seorang pemuda yang pemalu, mencari rezeki dengan menjual laksa di kampungnya. Suatu hari Biro Penerangan Belia 4B Cawangan Kampung yang diketuai oleh Fadhil Mat Dom telah bercadang untuk mengadakan malam anekaragam bagi tujuan mengumpul derma kepada keluarga Pak Maon yang kehilangan harta benda akibat kebakaran pada musim banjir. Man Laksa pula bercita-cita untuk menjual sebanyak mungkin laksa pada malam amal tersebut. Pada malam itu juga dia juga mahu melamar si buah hatinya, Chah. Namun Man Laksa sedar ia bukan kerja mudah kerana Chah adalah anak Ketua Kampung, Tok Ketua Tuan Hj. Sukarno. Tambahan pula ibu Chah, Makcik Mahuna adalah seorang yang materialistik. Tetapi Man Laksa yakin dengan keuntungan menjual berkati-kati laksa, dia akan mampu meminang Chah. Musuh ketat Man Laksa ialah Saedon Dengki, seorang kutu kampung yang juga ada hati terhadap Chah. Pelbagai masalah pula muncul satu-persatu. Orang ramai mula tiba di tapak malam amal. Fadhil yang mula resah pergi ke belakang pentas untuk memeriksa. Semua orang tiada. Pentas tak siap, penyanyi dan penari jemputan tak kunjung tiba, band boy juga tak muncul-muncul, dan seribu satu macam masalah lain. Lan Cicak kemudian datang kepada Fadhil dan mengatakan tiada persembahan yang boleh dibuat. Mendengarkan kata-kata tersebut, Fadhil terus pengsan. Ketua Kampung mahu seseorang menggantikan Fadhil. Sesiapa yang berjaya menyempurnakan tugas tersebut bakal menjadi menantunya. Mendengarkan tawaran tersebut, dan untuk membuatkan laksanya laku, Man Laksa terpaksa mengambil alih tugas tersebut. Penonton yang sudah penat menunggu mula memekik mahukan artis jemputan. Laksa Man Laksa pula langsung tidak terjual. Pak Lurah yang menjadi tukang cucuk, menambahkan ketegangan. Keadaan kucar-kacir tersebut berterusan... Mampukah Man Laksa membawa Ahmad Jais, Saloma dan M. Daud Kilau menyanyi di kampungnya itu, seperti yang dijanjikan oleh Fadhil Mat Dom? Sempurnakah persembahan malam amal tersebut, lalu boleh membuatkan laksanya terjual? Adakah Chah menerima lamaran Man Laksa atau lari bersama Saedon Dengki?
